I run the Tunnel to Towers 5K every year in memory of my friend, Robert T. Lane, who we lost on 9/11. Losing him left a hole in our lives that will never fully heal. Running is my way of keeping his memory close, honoring the kind of person he was, and making sure he’s never forgotten. Each mile reminds me of him and the sacrifice he made, and it gives me strength to carry his name forward.
