Last year I was able to run the T2T 5k for the first time with my cousin Kim. I was humbled to be around so many heroes. Growing up in Union City, NJ, I remember the towers rising up year by year. Living upstate in Apalachin, NY, as Town of Owego Supervisor, I was able to lead the construction of a 9-11 Memorial in Hickories Park. It includes two of the path train rails from beneath the World Trade Center. We were also to have the Rolling Museum displayed one weekend as well. It was visited by many in the community. Being able to participate in this event is an honor. I am very humbled.
Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes and their families.
Please help me support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and America's heroes by making a donation through my page. The process is fast, easy and secure. Thank you for your support, and please don't forget to send this page to anyone who may be interested in donating!
