I ran this event once before (2017) and this year I’m running in memory of my friend Arlene Connolly O'Neill, with the Green for Arlene Team.

Arlene participated in this amazing event many times. She was fiercely patriotic and an avid supporter of the FDNY and the NYPD. We know she'll be running with us in spirit on this special day.
Together we honor Arlene, and we honor the heroes that died both on September 11th, 2001, and in the years after from illnesses contracted in the subsequent rescue and recovery efforts.

Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes and their families.
