25 Years of Remembrance, Service, and Hope 🇺🇸🚒❤️
I participated in my first Tunnel to Towers walk the year my dad passed away, and I have continued to walk nearly every year since. What began as a way to honor his memory has become a meaningful tradition for my family.
As a volunteer firefighter, the mission of Tunnel to Towers is especially close to my heart. The organization honors the sacrifice of first responders and military heroes while providing support to the families they leave behind. Their work reminds us that we must never forget those who gave so much in service to others.
This year is especially meaningful as Tunnel to Towers marks its 25th year of honoring the legacy of FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller and remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001. For 25 years, the organization has carried forward a mission of service, sacrifice, and hope, providing support to our nation's heroes and their families.
This year is also particularly special because my son, EJ, is joining me once again and is now in his first year as a Junior Firefighter with the Westhampton Beach Fire Department. Seeing him embrace the values of service, community, and giving back makes me incredibly proud. Last year, with the support of family, friends, and our community, he raised more than $2,500 for Tunnel to Towers.
If you are considering making a donation, I encourage you to support EJ's fundraising page rather than mine. He has set an ambitious goal of raising $4,000 this year, and every dollar helps him get closer to that goal while supporting the incredible mission of Tunnel to Towers.
