This event lets me support multiple passions of mine - my long career in software, keeping active and the brotherhood of firefighting. Born from the tragedy of 9/11 and the story of FDNY firefighter Stephen Stiller, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation supports our nation's fallen and injured first responders, military and their families. Just so happens this foundation is an important customer of my company RunSignup where our team provides an extensive registration and fundraising software platform. The fire service has become an important part of my life since joining with my son Matt back in our hometown of Moorestown, NJ. Now serving with Marmora Volunteer Fire Company I'll be running in this event with my fellow firefighters from Station 15.
